Trimat was represented by Abhilash Kusam, Ph.D. at a poster presentation session and a lecture presentation session. The poster presentation titled "Alternate Methods for the Evaluation of Moisture Sensitivity of Asphalt Mixtures" where Dr. Kusam and a researcher from North Carolina State University presented the findings of using alternative test methods such as Boil Test with a color measuring device, Impact Resonance Test, and Dynamic Modulus Test using a Simple Performance Tester to determine moisture sensitivity of asphalt concrete. In the lecture presentation, he and his colleague presented the use of Boil Test and Moisture Induced Stress Tester (MIST) device to propose limits for adhesive and cohesive damage in asphalt mixtures.
